Please don your best hat and Derby attire for one of Kansas City’s most unique and festive fundraisers – the 6th Annual Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Gala.

This year’s event is Saturday, May 4 from 2:30 to 6 p.m. at the Carriage Club in Kansas City and features a fashion contest with prizes for best hat, best dressed and best dressed couple, as well as betting, a live and silent auction, drinks and appetizers.

Proceeds benefit The Mission Project, First Downs for Down Syndrome and the many young adults here in our metropolitan area affected by developmental disabilities like Down syndrome and autism. Learn more and purchase your tickets today!

Doug Osa Etching

The name of this 6" x 9" Doug Osa etching is "Union & Hickory", and it is from Kansas City's west bottoms. Valued at $250

Doug Osa is a Kansas native and lifelong resident of Kansas City. A full time artist, Osa’s paintings and etchings are included in private, corporate and institutional collections nationwide.  Doug and Ruthie Osa currently live in Olathe.
