The Mission Project hosts several signature events each year to help support our participants in their independent and fulfilling lives. These events include:



Because of the support of event attendees and sponsors, participants in The Mission Project are living in their own apartments, going to work each day, paying their bills, cooking healthy meals and spending time with friends – just like their peers. The money raised at our signature events specifically provides participants with:


  • 24-hour Help Line
  • Transportation to work and activities
  • Weekly social skills group
  • Instruction in daily living skills
  • Memberships at a local community center
  • Programs to promote healthy eating and exercise
  • Organized social and leisure activities
  • Technology training (every participant has an iPad)
  • Travel opportunities

There is no other organization like The Mission Project, yet there are thousands of young adults with special needs right here in our metro area who would thrive in such a program. You can help make their dreams come true! We hope to see you at one of our events soon!
