Your Legacy Donation Will Create an Endowment for The Mission Project

To be used exclusively to ensure the long-term sustainability of The Mission Project and further our mission of enabling capable adults with developmental disabilities to life independently and safely in community with individualized support.  

Who Will Manage the Endowment Fund?

The fund will be managed by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.

  • The GKCCF is a leading provider of philanthropic services, founded in 1978
  • Administers more than 7,000 charitable accounts, ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars
  • Currently manages total investments of $7 billion
  •  Serves donors and organizations across the country, including 501(c)(3) public charities, religious institutions, and educational institutions.
  • Ranks in the top 1% of community foundation sin the country based on asset size, contributions, and grants

How Can We Contribute?

Add the following codicil to your will and encourage others you think might be interested in doing the same:

“I bequeath to The Mission Project,Inc (Tax ID 83-0393426), a Not-For-Profit Kansas Corporation located in Mission, KS, the sum of _______ dollars, to be used by the MP Endowment Fund to ensure the Sustainability of The Mission Project, Inc.”
