The Mission Project 2026 Golf Classic: A Day of Golf, Giving and Community

Golfers, sponsors, volunteers and friends of The Mission Project came together at Tiffany Greens Golf Club for the 2026 Golf Classic—a full day of golf, friendly competition and community, all in support of The Mission Project and the adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities we serve.

The annual Golf Classic is always a fun day, but its impact goes far beyond the course. Every registration, sponsorship, raffle ticket, auction bid and donation helps The Mission Project provide the programs, employment support, transportation and community connections that help our participants continue growing toward greater independence and self-reliance.

A Full Day at Tiffany Greens Golf Club

The day began with registration, box lunches and time to check out the raffle and silent auction before golfers headed to their assigned holes for the noon shotgun start.

Throughout the afternoon, teams competed in a four-person scramble along with closest-to-the-pin, longest-drive, closest-second-shot and longest-putt contests. Golfers also had the opportunity to take on the Glass Break Challenge and Big Shot Golf Challenge, plus two chances at a $10,000 hole-in-one.

After a full afternoon on the course, everyone came back together for dinner, followed by the raffle, silent auction, 50/50 drawing and recognition of the day’s team and contest winners.

From lunch before tee-off to dinner and prizes at the end of the day, we were grateful to spend the day with so many people who believe in The Mission Project.

Your Support Makes a Difference Beyond the Golf Course

Your support of the 2026 Golf Classic does so much more than make a fun day and great camaraderie possible. It directly supports programs and services that improve the quality of life for Mission Project participants.

Programming: Your support provides access to meaningful, innovative programming that enriches participants’ lives, helps them continue learning and builds skills for greater self-reliance.

Employment: Meaningful employment can build confidence, self-esteem and greater independence. Job training and coaching help participants develop the skills they need to successfully navigate the workplace.

Transportation: Getting to and from work is essential. Your support helps ensure participants have the transportation they need to maintain meaningful employment.

Community: The Mission Project is also a community. Our clubs, activities and social opportunities help participants build friendships, stay engaged and remain active members of the greater Kansas City community.

That’s why the support behind the Golf Classic matters long after the final putt.
