Introducing the KC IDD & Autism Network: Building Stronger Connections Across Our Community

The Mission Project is excited to help launch the KC IDD & Autism Network, a new networking group designed to bring together professionals and organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism throughout the Kansas City region.

Modeled after the relationship-building opportunities of a Chamber of Commerce, the KC IDD & Autism Network creates a dedicated space where providers can connect, collaborate, share resources, and strengthen partnerships that ultimately benefit the individuals and families we all serve.

As the founding organization behind this initiative, The Mission Project believes that meaningful collaboration leads to stronger outcomes. By bringing organizations together, we can reduce barriers, encourage innovation, and build a more connected network of support across our community.

Who Should Attend?

Whether you are a:

  • Service provider
  • Therapist
  • Educator
  • Nonprofit leader
  • Healthcare professional
  • Government representative
  • Self-advocate
  • Community partner

…you are invited to join us as we build a culture of collaboration, shared learning, and mutual support.

Our Vision

The KC IDD & Autism Network was created with one simple goal: to strengthen our community by strengthening our connections.

Together, we hope to:

  • Foster meaningful professional relationships
  • Share resources and best practices
  • Encourage collaboration over competition
  • Increase awareness of available services
  • Improve outcomes for individuals with IDD, autism, and their families

We believe that when organizations work together, everyone benefits.
